M. Stanton Evans has been a journalist and leader in the conservative movement for over four decades. A native of Texas and author of nine books, he has written for National Review, the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, and The Freeman, and served for 14 years as editor of the Indianapolis News. Mr. Evans was a political commentator for news organizations such as CBS and National Public Radio for over twenty years, and he founded the National Journalism Center in 1977. A former chairman of the American Conservative Union, he is currently a professor at Troy University.
