Daniel B. Coupland, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Education, Hillsdale College
Daniel B. Coupland, an associate professor of education at Hillsdale College, received his Ph.D. in education from Michigan State University. At Hillsdale, he serves as advisor for the Classical Education minor and the Liberal Arts Teacher Apprenticeship, and as a consultant for the College’s Charter School Initiative. He also serves on the board of directors of the Society for Classical Learning and on the editorial board for Arts of Liberty: A Journal on Liberal Arts and Liberal Education. In 2013, Dr. Coupland was voted professor of the year by Hillsdale’s senior class.
