Who Can Attend?
All are welcome to attend events at the Kirby Center. We kindly request that you register in advance.
May I bring additional guests?
You are welcome to bring additional guests to our events. To ensure that all can be accommodated, please be sure to include them in your registration.
What is the cost of attending?
AWC Family Foundation Lectures are free of charge. Following the lecture, a boxed lunch is also provided free of charge.
Where is this event, and how do I get there?
All lectures are held at the Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship at 227 Massachusetts Avenue NE.
Is parking available at the Kirby Center?
Unfortunately, the Kirby Center does not offer parking. The nearest parking garage is located at Union Station, a ten-minute walk from the Kirby Center. There is also residential parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
Will the lectures be recorded?
All AWC Family Foundation Lectures are recorded and we strive to make them available promptly. Video of recent lectures can be found at our Recent Events page, and older videos are sorted into our Resources pages by category and can also be found on our YouTube channel.
Will a DVD be made available?
At this time, we are unable to make available DVDs of AWC Family Foundation Lectures.
Are the lectures available live online?
The Kirby Center chooses whether to stream lectures live on a case-by-case basis. Live-streaming is announced on the home page and on our Upcoming Events page.
Will a transcript be available?
At this time, we are unable to make transcripts available. Occasionally, AWC Family Foundation Lectures are featured in Hillsdale College’s monthly speech digest, Imprimis.
